Customizable Helix

This customizable helix was originally designed as a bridging torture test. After finding that most of helix I found had defects in the models, points that didn't connect, I set off to make my own. I hope you guys enjoy.

I've listed two codes that produce the same helix. The two codes demonstrate a simplified and complex way to create the same model, and some would say a right and wrong way.
The settings on the customizer are extreme and you really only need to change them by small values, however I put exaggerated values because it can be fun to play with, and I want to see what others create. :)
