### **Customizable Lightweight Masterspool (Master Spool)**

I needed a spool-core that can be used with spool-sidewalls salvaged from a finished filament spool. I found this great **MasterSpool by CyperTech** project when searching for something ready-to-print:

Unfortunately, it was not fully fitting my requirements but I used it as an inspiration to write my OpenSCAD code that creates very similarly-looking, but customizable spool-core model. Hereby I am giving credit to the author of the original good concept.

This project can be used in three ways:
- just download, slice and 3D print pre-generated STL files (ready-to-print models),
- generate your own models using provided OpenSCAD file (customizable-masterspool-torwan.scad), you can easily customize the default model to your needs by changing values of the parameters listed at the beginning of the file.
