Wrapping wire dispenser
I always used Blender for modeling, but I heard that OpenSCAD is better for mecanic and Blender for organic. So I tried OpenSCAD and this is my very first design. I tried to make it as a customizer.
I ordered 30AWG wrapping wire from Banggood, it is available in 8 colors, I ordered each of them (300m each spool). I needed a smart dispenser for it and tried to design it. It still miss a foam or sponge based bar to avoid unrolling the spools and clean the wires, I might add it later.
It is designed to be either horizontally or vertically on a table top, or screwed on the wall. The customizer will take care or the mounting holes and of the fillers between the spools to avoid free unroll and shared unroll.
You can customize the spool sizes (internal radius, external radius, width), the number of rows/cols you want, the bottom, side and filler width.
I will use it only indoor, it won't have any real physical stress, I printed it in PLA.
