Customizable Parts Drawer

This is an openscad file to create drawers that are usable with cruzher's small items organizer found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1666929. It's also good for the remixes that wschadow did at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2008502 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2010577.

I have included a drawer with 4 rows of partitions, with rows of 4, 3, 3 and 2 partitions. Also, a regular 4x3 drawer, and a more complex experimental drawer that I actually find useful for some oddball parts.

The main selling point is that you can have a different number of partitions across the drawer for each row. So two rows of 3 followed by 3 rows of 4 are easy to make. Now all your M3 screws (even the long ones) can be in one drawer without the tiny ones being on oversized partitions. With some experimentation (as seen by my parts_drawer_exp_1 file) even complex layouts are possible. If you don't like the label holders, it's simple to comment them out.
