This is a customizable rodent vacuum for testing. You print what you need and configure the rodent vacuum. I included one three-part pipe entrance with a bait tray and latch design.
Some potential benefits of this trap:
• This trap can be configured as a catch and release or not.
• It can be safer vs snap traps and poison.
• Can attach to wall and mimic a plumbing pipe.
• Automatic reset and multi-catch.
• Can use a lot of bait to lure the mice or rats in. Rats have a strong olfactory.
• Can be setup as a smart trap to get alerts on your phone.
• Can use existing equipment and materials you already have.
Instructions and information:
This trap uses the Westek MLC12BC-4 for the motion setting and a vacuum with a 2.5” hose that is 10amps or less. A Ridgid HD1200 should work or something similar work. I designed this to be able to 3D print the parts or you can substitute a 3” ABS pipe and 3” hose clamps from the local hardware store. You could even use some aluminum foil possibly double
