Customizable Shelf Retention Bracket

Now has a parametric design using Open SCAD. Hopefully will be Customizer-enabled soon, but Customizer is broken at the time that I am updating this project.

Two common shelf sizes are already included as STLs. Using OpenSCAD you can scale the shelf and/or pin sizes up/down as needed to fit your project. I also cleaned up the look of the underside of the shelf pin for a more rounded, modern look.

Should work for most shelf thicknesses and for pins up to about an inch in diameter. If your project requires sturdier pins, you probably also won't be using a plastic bracket. Let me know if I need to tweak this....


Two STLs are provided: one for .25" hole and one for a 3/8" (0.375") hole.

The original Sketchup 8 files included so model can be tweaked, but I recommend using the OpenSCAD design instead.

The models work well. Print flat, 0.1 or 0.2mm layer height, 30% fill, and use support.
