Customizable Slinky (Text and shape)

Create a fully customizable text-engraved slinky-style toy. Personalize height, diameter, text, fonts, spacing, colors… — then print it in one piece and release the spring after printing. How It Works This model prints as a solid spiral cylinder. Once printed, you open the first gap with a blade and then the coils peel apart easily by hand — turning it into a spring-like slinky. Very important: This design depends on precise filament calibration. Clean separation between coils requires accurate extrusion. I have achieved excellent results with Bambu Lab Matte PLA using default profiles, which provide great dimensional consistency and crisp text. Try the included test piece first. A small coil test slice is generated automatically — print it before the full slinky to confirm your flow settings and separation tolerance. This saves time and filament. No supports. No assembly.
