CuttyBot Printable Assembly

Recently I did a project that required a lot of wires to be cut and stripped to the same length with the same precise amount of insulation stripped. Like 120. Days later, I finished that part. Then I found that my measurements were off by Just A Teensy Bit. So I looked for any wire cutting automation that could do things precisely. The only things I found involved mounting stepper motors on a base using zip ties, or involved a LOT of complex parts and fabrication.

Twelve design iterations later, this came out to hold a wire cutter/stripper, a stepper motor, and a servo on the top, and a set of electronics inside. Then a board, an ESP-32 module, stepper driver, and some small parts, and it all works extremely well. Sub-millimeter precision and speed both with a device that takes a standard 12V adapter and works via WiFi.

This is the set of two printable parts needed for the little machine. Details on the electronics will be presented if folks are interested.
