CYC Photon Chainring Tool

I decided I didn't want to wait to receive a chainring tool from CYC to remove my chain ring simply to do a basic spring service on my bike. This worked perfectly for me, and was plenty strong. I used 30mm M4 screws, they'll self thread no problem (use a power driver, go slowly). You'll need 5-10mm of exposed thread, just run the screws back until the tool is seated against the face of the chainring retainer, then torque away!
My tool of preference for this was a standard BB Cup removal tool, plenty of ability to disperse the force, and many of us bike guys have them in our inventory already. I don't think a standard drive attachment would have been ideal here. Either way, worked well for me! Good luck!
I also built a removal tool to take off the inner bearing (inside the housing) retainer ring. I had some crud behind it that was annoying me, and I wanted to repack the bearing while I had everything apart. I'll link that here below:
