Cyclone 7
A fully functional dust separator, printable in one single piece.
Searching the web for an affortable dust seperator for my CNC-machine I found articles that were either to expensice or did not have the dimensions I was looking for. When searching on thingiverse I only found designs that either involved printing and assembling multiple pieces or required a heavy amount of material as support structure for 3D-printing. Therefor, I decided to come up with my own desing, focussiong on the following requirements:
* no assambly, no glue
* in- and outlet inner diameters of 40 mm each
* the least possible amount of material for a support structure
Instructions:
For printing the "Cyclone 7" has to be printed in an upside down position, as displayed in the 3D-animation. To put it to work, two holes of 40 mm diameter have to be cut into the cover of a sealable bucket. Afterwards, the vacuum hoses have to be put through these holes. The cyclone can be mounted to the cover
