Cymbal Quick Clamp

A fully working printable quick cymbal clamp. If you are a drummer, or anywhere near drums and Cymbals then you know what this is.

modeled from scratch
will replace any 8mm screw cymbal nut (butterfly wing, etc)
simply press to release the threaded mechanism
has thumb inserts which enables for easy screwing in case you want to adjust tightness

For the final assembly the following will be required :
2x Allen Hex screws M3 x 10mm
2x M3 nuts (preferably locking nuts, but normal ones will do just fine)

Please take attention to printing guidelines. As you know every printer is different so your printer settings may need to be slightly different.
The part consists of three different parts. The housing (top and bottom), the button (with the thread), and the spring. The latter you can print with TPU filament like Ninjaflex etc. If you don't have TPU filament you will have to find a hard spring in order to replace.
