Cypress Fruit 3D Scan

Beautiful Cypress Fruit 😍🌲, scanned using my DIY 3D Scanner, in "Modified Version of FlexScan3D", using 6.3MP cameras.

I scanned this beautiful natural object about one years ago and it is one of my first macro scans. Those days I didn't have well equipment for perfect scanning, but the scan result is very satisfying. I may re-scan it with my new DIY 3D scanner and enhanced equipment to compare the results.

This item has many deep features and cavities that make it a little challenging to 3D scan, but my DIY scanner overcame this scan very well as always 😎😍.

For this scan I used my DIY 2-axis turntable, for automatic calibration and scanning process.
The turntable allows for automatic positioning and alignment of scans, so these small objects can be easily scanned in some few minutes.
