Hi,
I made a little remix of great spauda D-Bot. I added 3 8mm rods instead of mini wheels. In my opinion z axis is more stablie and in my country this varriant is much cheaper.
I was also inspired by D-Bot linear rail z platform by sareph http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1924828. I remaked his LM12LUU mount. Too bad i didn't check his version because lack of 12mm rods, if anyone has some experience with it and can share I will be pleased.
All you have to do is buy 2 x 475mm 8mm rod, 1 x 490mm 8mm rod, 6 x LM8UU bearings and print some parts, quantity is added to their names. Also some Z axis endstop modification is needed, everything is on photos.
My parts are printed with PLA, 50% infill what is enough for me.
I TOTALLY FORGOT - YOU NEED TO SCALE PARTS TO 1000% IN SLIC3R, ALSO ROTATE ROT_HOLDER 180 DEGREES AROUND X AXIS.
EDIT
i added bearing holders for 20x20 profiles, also my ipt files, if anyone wanna change something(be careful, I am CAD beginner).
