I have a Nikon D7000, no cages are available for it, so I made my own. I also made some attachments for various flash configurations, 6.35mm (1/4") holes all around at 9mm spacing. This thing is modular, so feel free to edit and definitely make more addons!
It features holes and gaps for sdcard slots and battery door, uses one single screw to attach, and strap loops on one side (I use a hand strap to carry my camera, neck straps and shoulder strap lend to a swinging camera while helping my personal model (daughter), usually ending into her cranium (ouch).
Stickything is so I can attach velcro for my remote receiver (Sunpak 283 does not like optical sensor)
The rest are basically cold shoe mounts for various areas. I added support for two of them to assist for heavier flashes.
