DAIGLE TH8A shifter mod

DAIGLE Thrustmaster TH8A shifter mod.

Simple design using of 4 plunger screws carefully positioned to offer the best feeling. It also act as a short shifter, reducing the throw between gears. The design was thoroughly tested and shows no signs of wear after more than 10000km!

What's needed :

- 4 plunger screws m10x16
- 2 cable ties
- tap m10x1.5
- white grease
- blue loctite


Prepare the part :

Screws can be used to adjust strength. A good starting point is to let the screws stick out about 1mm. Apply white grease on the balls and blue loctite on the thread.


Installation procedure (full pdf in attachment):

1- UNSCREW THE GEAR SHIFT KNOB

2- UNSCREW THE DESK MOUNT

3- REMOVE THE METALLIC SHELL
a- Unscrew the 3 long screws.
b- Unscrew the 6 short screws.

4- REMOVE THE INTERNAL MODULE
c- Carefully disconnect the switch
d- Partially unscrew the 2 side screws
e- Unscrew the 4 screws connecting the module to the top of the gea
