Daisy Drain

Daisy Drain sink strainer.
We have all had the problem of a plate is over the sink hole, and your sink doesn't drain.
Using the Daisy Drain resists those kinds of clogs from dishes in the sink.
It also is shaped to "find" the hole and center itself over the sink drain.
I found the 140mm size to work on my kitchen sink. The 110mm Daisy Drain fits the smaller bathroom sink.

Problem:
3D prints are hydrophilic (the opposite of waterproof). Left untreated, a 3D print in the sink will quickly absorb water, then get dirty and moldy. I tried many solutions = Epoxy, Silicone... I found that spray painting the 3D printed PLA+ with automotive lacquer is keeping the Daisy Drain sealed and clean.
