Dala Horse

The Dala horse is a traditional carved wooden horse from Sweden, especially associated with the region of Dalarna. It dates back to the 17th century, when woodcarvers made small horses for children from leftover wood. Today, the Dala horse is painted in bright colors, most commonly red, and decorated with a distinctive floral pattern called kurbits. It has become a national symbol of Sweden, representing craftsmanship, good luck, and Swedish cultural heritage. And this is my intepretation of it. So have fun printing and painting some of these.
