This is the first of a few skins for my RPi Box, I have 1963 Tardis almost finished. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS.
The SCAD program and uploaded STL will create a "2005" based Dalek that stands about 6.5" (165mm) tall. As it stands now, it is a sculpture. In the coming month, I will finish the scaling changes to allow printing 2x large with interior space lof at least 70mmx70mm and 100mm tal, plus wiring space to a RPi-B+ SBC as well as multiple drives and a powered USB hub to power and connect them together.
IF you the model direction, the skirt is setup to have hemi-semi printed all in one, or via "spikes", then a pyramid in stead then print up 56 bumps and 56 coins, and glue them on yourself. This is allow multicolored skirt,
Remember to remove the supports for the neck rings, I use a small pair of needle nose to pul each support out with a light twist, then cut at the notch to remove the support rings.
All mounts are designed around #4 3/8" or 1/2" even up to 3/4".
