DBLDBL Whistles
These two-note whistles create not one sound, but two. Two notes high. Two notes low. I call them DOUBLE DOUBLE. Blow while putting two fingers over the Apito-like SIDE PORTS results in low notes. PORTS OPEN is high notes. Neat sound. And, different.
The sounds a DOUBLE DOUBLE Whistles makes is sharp, resonant, loud and distinctive. Distinct sounds make it possible to use whistles to communicate with group members in a chaotic, crowded, noisy environment. In these situations you’re not alone. These whistles stand out.
