Death Star grinder with small tripod preventing it from rolling away. It consists of 6 3D printed parts, including the display stand, and some electronics I extracted from a small flash light.
Most of the parts are screwed together except for the upper and lower part of the grinder these are held together by two magnets (Diameter: 6mm, Height: 3mm). Make sure you glue the magnets in the right direction.
The light source is a 3V LED which was soldered to a small PCB but you could also use a regular 5mm diameter LED and use a glue gun to hold it in place. The LED is connected to a 3x1.5V button cell battery (higher than the LED voltage but this is how it was in the flashlight) and is controlled by a slide switch which sticks out at the backside of the death star (http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/slide-switches/7874855/). Since you can't apply glue directly to the button, I designed a small accessory to hold the button in place.
You can unscrew the bottom of the death star which fun
