Various components for rack mounting raspberry Pi's using a Decora rack mount plate. Remix of parts developed by ButlerTheButler (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4167265)
plus some new parts. Special thanks to ButlerTheButler for providing native Fusion files!
#General Notes:
1. The decora bases have smaller holes on the front for direct threading the #6-32 screws that typically come with the decora rack plate.
2. Some of the mounting bases are setup for 3.5mm O.D.. heat-set threaded inserts for the M2.5 screws or standoffs used to mount the Pi.
3. I use the inside of an old Toslink fiber cable to bring the status light(s) from the Pi's to the faceplate. I cut sections of the fiber to length and flame polish the cut ends. The fiber clips are not compatible with standoff stacks and generally require leaving 1 corner unsupported. I either drill a small hole in the face plate or use a set of face plates with holes designed in to pass the fiber through. Flame polishing
