Dehumidifier Rod Mount

I wondered if a dehumidifier rod could be used to create a dry box for storing filaments. I started with a Sterilite 32 quart storage boxand bought a 12 inch dehumidifier rod. The rods came with mounts but I did not like the mounts. I found the ½" EMT pipe clip on Thingiverse and made the base thicker to get the rod further away from the side of the box. I used PC to print the mounts but ABS should work as well, just use a higher temp filament since it will be in contact with a heat source. The mounts are bolted on using bolts and nuts printed with ABS, I just wanted to see how well printed bolts worked but metal hardware can be used. I have been using two of these dry boxes for several months without any issues. The boxes hold six spools easily from 13 to 20 percent humidy.Boost MeIf you find this useful, please Boost. Thanks.
