Purchasing a $28 dehydrator off eBay seemed like a great thing until after drying 30kg of filament, the manual JT-208B thermostat temperature wire broke (from heat?). Using a continuity tester I confirmed the heating element fuse and switch were fine, so I needed a replacement. Manual switches were $15-25, so I looked into a digital conversion. Enter the $5-10 W3230 thermostat. This thermostat works with both heating or cooling and comes in 110-220v AC, 12v DC, or 24v DC. I got the 110-220v version. I mocked up a case to replace the manual temperature control knob so the W320 thermostat sits inside the bottom. There are 2 versions in the print file: the standard size and one with an increased bottom height for making a larger hole in the side to account for the bottom wiring on the W3230. The bottom heating chamber doesn't seem to get too hot, so PLA might be ok, but I used PETG for better heat resistance. Shout out to MNeverOff for their amazing Parametric Dehydrator wall generato
