Delivery Drone Release

I was making my Delivery Drone when i ran into a slight problem. I didnt have a release system, and i didnt have a servo onhand. So i decided to try to improvise and use 2 of my dc motors. The idea is to have the negative of the battery connect to the positive of the dc motor before. But the when it the drone hits the ground, the other to polls will connect which will cause the motor to spin which will release the package.
