Dell Optiplex 7050 SSD Mount

The padded drive pins that come with the Optiplex 7050 desktop, designed to fit perfectly in their dual 2.5" drive caddies, are seemingly discontinued and difficult to source. This mount clips into the existing grommet slots and allows you to add any standard 2.5" SSD with standard M3 5mm screws.

PLA softens at about 55-60 Celsius and most case internal temperatures won't exceed 30-40 C under load. This means PLA/PLA+ *should* be good enough. However, I recommend printing with a material with higher heat tolerance (e.g. ABS), just in case. Last thing you want is gooey plastic spreading through your case.
