Delta RP80977

This is a part for our delta touch2O faucet in the kitchen. The Delta part (part# RP80977) has a magnet and tends to rust and crack the plastic it is embedded in. You can purchase the part and the tool together but cannot purchase the ring by itself. They last about 6 to 8 months.

I searched all over just for the part since I have the tool but could not find it. So, I made my own part and it works great. I used the original part for measurements and this is bang on. Of course, it does not have the magnet embedded. To keep the faucet snug, I increased the wall thickness from 3.35mm to 3.65mm. I also added extra "bumps" so it will stay fit. The black piece is the original Delta part. The printed piece fits the install/removal tool (orange) perfectly.

Installation is easy. Just line up the tall "neck" thingy and gently press the piece in. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer.

I initially printed this with PLA, but it was brittle. So,
