Dendro Watch

This wood watch represents 5 'treerings' that match the 5th anniversary of an event. It is designed to use 'wood looking' parts as part of a challenge that ran on grabcad that required a ETA 6497 movement. Because this movement uses an off center secondhand, the second hand design uses a gear trick and a marking for a five minute second ring ( 300 secs per rotation ) Could be a pocket or wrist model ( one wrist band connector is shown ) The front and back are intended to be covered by a slice of gorilla glass that provides the watch structure and a 'view into the workings of time' : Dendrochronology on the front and the workings of a ETA 6497 on the back (represented by the red slice (ie http://www.ofrei.com/images/eta-gp6497-1ee.jpg)
