Derpy Dino is a great addition to any 3d character collection. Perfect for kids, teens, and adults. Easy to print (takes a bit of time with multi colour but the results are totally worth it). He does stand on his own. I printed 3 and they all turned out great. Use normal supports as it does have a large snout and tree supports leave marks on the bottom pretty heavily. Scale to desired size.
