I designed this stylish desk lamp as part of the "Reusing Cardboard Spools Design Contest" on MakerWorld. The lamp creatively incorporates two empty cardboard filament spool cores as decorative elements, giving new life to what would otherwise be waste material. In addition to the cardboard pieces, the lamp is made up of four custom 3D-printed parts: the top lid, the lampshade, the base, and a base insert designed to securely hold an LED Lamp Kit 001 light. The LED kit provides a warm glow, and when the lamp is turned on, the lampshade reveals a beautiful honeycomb pattern that adds a striking visual effect. This project combines practical design with a unique aesthetic, blending upcycled materials and custom 3D printing for a creative and functional lighting solution.
