Desk Organizer

This desk organizer has 6 slots for writing utensils, 3 smaller slots for smaller items and on big slot in the back for a student planner or a ruler. This desk organizer not only has the space for everything you need it also has a built in speaker. It directs the sound waves in one direction to magnify the sound similar to a megaphone. It also has a slot for a charger so as you are listening to music you can charge your phone.
The issue I came up against was size of the print. I took into consideration the size of the printer we have the opportunity to win and because it only has a printing dimension of 7"-7"-7" I took that into consideration and made it fit in that dimension.
If I could redesign this I would change the amount of support in the speaker.
3D printing helps strengthen this design because I got to print and make sure the design worked, printed well and I got to change the design of the speaker to what worked.
