Desk Vise

Design ConceptThe fully printable desk vice will hold whatever parts you may need. It will fit on any desk that is between .400 and 1.250 in thick. I made the vice jaws removable, so If I have an odd-shaped part, I can print a set of jaws for it. I just published a set out of TPU and haven't needed anything else. It is important to note that there is no pin on the unfixed jaw, so you have to slide it out manually, but I have an easy fix in mind that I will add later. Print Settings The printer settings aren't that important. I ran mine out of PLA at .20mm layer height with all the stock creality settings except the support. I changed to the Tree Slim in the advanced because it is better. Rotating the parts for optimal printing of the threaded components is more critical. You must orientate them in a way where the threads don't have any support. accept the desk clamp thread just make sure the support is on the build plate only so it's not a hassle to remove. The best is to make the thread print vertically.
