Full download of the Desktop Lamp, including all the required components and both the E14 and E27 Fittings.Prints very well in materials like PLA, PETG. The lamp shade gives a warm and cozy glow when printed with a light coloured woodfilled filament. The printed example in the photos has been printed with Xtrudr Wood PLA Natural RAL 1013.Needed:Regular E27 or E14 lamp fitting from any common DIY shop. Check the diameters for fitment (before buying, or take the printed sockets with you).Standard electrical cable for equipment, like lamps and such. 8-9mm in diameter/width.Get a cable with solid end connectors, or a solid wire. Most fittings do not fit well with bundled or loose wires.E27 socket within the file: 40mm.E14 socket within the file: 26mmFor assembly:1. Guide the cable through the back of the footing to the top, make sure you have atleast about 30cm /1ft of length to work with. You can pull back the excess later. Do not pull through the threaded top yet.2. Guide the fitting through the shade and screw into the head of the footing. Use the Screw Assist tool to lock the fitting into the top. This secures the position of the shade.3. Guide the cables through the fitting and out of the shade. Connect the wires to your fitting.4. pull back the cable and place fitting within the socket. You can use glue for a more permanent solution.5. pull back the cable down into the fitting so there is no unnecessary length sticking out. You're done! enjoy your self-assembled desktop or nightstand light!Keep an eye out for the other shades or design one yourself.
