I saw this really cool accessory for the Festool Oscillating Multitool that allows the user to make nice even plunge cuts with a stable base and went looking for ideas on how to make that happen with my Dewalt DCS356 unit. I was only able to find one design on Etsy that has fairly bad reviews for a lot of different reasons, so I decided to build my own. The base, rods and caps all press fit together and took a solid amount of hammer force to assemble, so they aren't coming apart any time soon. Don't forget to put the springs and tool mount in there before you add the caps like I did the first time… I used the following hardware:2 - M4x16 Cap Head Machine Screws (These go into the non-threaded holes on the tool to maintain alignment, the printed part is threaded to hold these in place so don't over-tighten.)2 - M5x18 Pan Head Machine Screws (These go into the threaded holes on the tool)4 - 10mm OD, 0.8mm wire size, 50mm length springs (https://a.co/d/h0BvpB3) - If you can fi
