Diamond Apple Mold

A mold to bolt around a growing apple to (hopefully) produce a diamond-shaped apple!

Will it work? Who knows! It sure would be cool if someone tried it and posted the result. It will likely need to be scaled depending on the tree... The widest part of the inner diamond here is 7cm (STL units in mm).

I know sunlight won't hit the fruit with this on, but I've read that it doesn't affect the fruit's size. It may affect the taste a bit due to malic acid distribution. It might even taste better!
