This is a lock, and you are responsible for making sure it works correctly. You are an adult right? I am not responsible for any lost or stolen items. By making this project you agree it's you own responsibility.
This contains all the parts you need to trace and cut out of 1" x 1/8" flat bar stock steel. All metal components for the lock's frame can easily be made with 1" x 1/8" steel bar stock. Then it has 2 jigs to hold the pieces so you can tack them in place. (NOTE; be smart when you tack these. Welding produces a lot of heat, and the jigs will melt. You will want to do a small tack, and remove the jig right after.)

I made mine by tracing the parts out on 1" x 1/8" bar stock, cutting them out with a metal band saw, and welding them in place by using the jigs. Some filing and adjustments will likely be needed to ensure proper operation. You could also probably use a fancy CNC machine to cut the parts for y
