Having put together a Zoom studio, I found that the Neewer LED lights I was using to be a bit harsh on my eyes. I didn't need the full output of the lights, as I just used them for fill lights.
I always wanted a diffuser or softbox, but didn't see any that I liked at a price point that suited me. I finally got around to designing this and it seems to work fine.
It is designed a little on the loose side for a drop-over-the-top implementation rather than snap or pressure fit. There's enough room for you to scale to your liking. There's also enough room in the channel to use nano tape so this should fit a number of different brands of lights if they are similar in profile.
