Another 3D printed vase? Yes… and no. Unlike typical vase mode prints — which look great but often result in thin and fragile walls — Difora Vase is designed with a constant horizontal wall thickness of 1.2 mm (3 line widths). This makes it stronger and actually watertight (when printed correctly). The idea behind this design was to create a form that appears to grow naturally from a central axis, like a material slowly diffusing outward. The vase is entirely built from partial tubular segments, whose diameter evolves along the height, creating a surface that feels both structured and fluid. This design plays with both geometry and light: the vertical reliefs catch reflections differently depending on the angle, bringing the object to life without adding unnecessary complexity.
