Digital Caliper Mount

Slowly working on my LACK Enclosure for my Mk3 and realized I use my digital calipers way more than I expected and continually placing it back in its storage container and removing it was unacceptable. Due to the my current layout and size of my caliper I noticed the most convenient place to keep it would be to mount it on the leg of the enclosure itself.

Took some measurements with my old school ruler as I only have one caliper and its kind of hard to measure a caliper with itself. Came up with a simple design that would hold the caliper safely and not easily fall off and this is what I came up with.

An added bonus is this type of simple design lends itself perfect assisting me with learning how to use Fusion 360 as the learning curve from SketchUp to Fusion 360 is steeper than I thought it would be.
