Digitrax UT Throttle Table Mounts

Here is a project that may have a little narrower focus than some. I made up some holders for the Digitrax UT throttles that mount to the table edge for the grand kids. Sometimes its just a little hard for the wee ones to hold on to the throttles all of the time. This lets do all of the other tasks like putting cars on the track and messing with the switches without having to always hold a throttle.

I have a digitrax UT2 and UT4 throttle for the grand kids to use on the . On the UT4 the cable comes out of the top and on the UT2 the cable comes out the bottom. That is about the only difference between the holders. There are mounts for 1/2” and 3/4” thick table tops. The holders just slide onto the mounts via a clever little slide that I borrowed from Filboyt’s filament guide.

I also made up some little clips that are just for holding the extra cable up off the floor. They are meant to hold the coiled cable from the UT4.
