The idea for this design came from a small round clay object I saw at the Getty art museum gift shop. I thought it would make a good print, so I designed a part that duplicated it. But after looking at on screen it I thought "But it's too small to hold anything useful." So I made it larger, and then I realized it might be more interesting if, instead being circular, I made it elliptical. So this 3rd iteration is why it's called dimple3. It printed in a little more than 20 1/2 hours using a print speed of 100 mm/sec and layer height of 2.00 mm.
