This is a remix, based on the strainer basket by Horstage. The pro-tip, where
the basket is placed upside-down was meant to hold the cutlery separated. To me
it seemed that it would be useful (and to save material) to print struts to the
side, to prevent the basket from dropping in.
In this scad file, you can set whether to print struts and how long, distance
from the edge you want them printed. Obviously, if used with struts, the
cell-diameter should be made large enough to hold the stems of the cutlery.
*After trying this, I don't think it's a good idea to do this*
*Don't use PLA*, it sags under the pressure from the cutlery, especially when
it's hanging from the small struts. PETG or ABS should be more stable in a
dishwasher. ABS may be undesirable, as it contains food-unsafe chemicals.
Nylon, if you can print with it, seems to work ok, if it stays in one piece...
UPDATE (Jan 10, 2017): I modified the scad file to allow for different diameter
cells for bottom and
