This rocket is designed for a fire-and-forget experience, meant to be launched and considered non-recoverable. It employs an Estes C6-5 rocket motor, and to ensure a secure fit, I wrapped the motor with masking tape. Upon the parachute delay activation, the nose cone is expected to dislodge mid-flight, causing the rocket to descend harmlessly.
Feel free to access the open rocket file provided. Always launch in an open field, away from infrastructure and people. Please be aware that I assume no responsibility for any damages resulting from the rocket's use. By downloading, printing, and launching, you agree to accept liability for potential damages to property and life.
To minimize ecological impact, use a biodegradable filament for printing. Print the nose cone at 75% infill with a concentric pattern, and the body at 10% (although it's less critical). Ensure the nose cone weighs between 25 and 50 grams to maintain stability and the body is ≤20 grams.
The fins feature a 2-degr
