This spool can store 20 m of rope and lets you unreel it with one hand, perfect for a surface marker buoy (SMB). The holes around the circumference lets you look of the reel with a snaphook. The two halves are secured together with a 30 mm M6 bolt (countersunk) and nut.

Source code (.stp & .3dm) is also provided, should you want to modify the design for your own purpose. Please share your prints!
