This is a DIY (do it yourself) inhalator concept.
During the COVID19 surge, an enhanced need for oxygen therapy has been required.
While people are able to manage oxygen cylinders, the inhalator needed to utilise the oxygen is in short supply.
This concept realises an inhalator from the oxygen cylinder to patient's mouth with:-
• A small length of RO (reverse osmosis) tubing and 2 No RO elbows (standard size, 1/4th inch British Standard Pipe (BSP). Optional, a flow valve of RO type.
• A normal coke bottle (Note: coke/pepsi/sprite bottles.. any soft drink bottle. Mineral water bottles have a different neck screw, and this design will not be air tight) that acts as a humidifier.
• If you don't have a nasal cannula, then another coke bottle that can be cut to make a small breathing mask.
• And most importantly, 3d printed parts here that make the adapters to connect between different sizes of oxygen cylinder, coke bottle, and the cannula/mask.
