I decided to share this thing :-)
This can be used for fishing bait drops or anything that you wish to drop from your drone.
I have used the bigger box because I use a 9volt battery to power the Adriano and Servo motor. I have designed the box that hold the controller and battery separate so it can be change to what size the user like. The box is hold by 2 screws.
I had created a release pin, but found that a metal rod was very smooth so I was going with that.
The code for the Arduino is also included.
Components list:
1 x Arduino Nano
1 x 100K Resistor
1 x LDR (Light dependent resistor)
1 x switch
On the remote the C2 button can be programed on the Mavic to turn the front LED's on / off, or if you start recording it will also turn the front LED's on. This is what trigger the release,
I had to cover the LDR sensor slip with aluminium foil to block the sunlight, the only filament I had was glow in the dark, otherwise it would drop when it fly in direct sunlight.
