DJI Osmo Action 5 Case – Custom-Made Alternative

Hey Makers! I’d like to share a project I designed: a DJI Osmo Action 5 case for those like me who don’t have the official DJI accessories and are looking for a more compact, DIY-friendly solution. 🔧 Model Overview The design is split across two print plates: Main Case (first plate): Print it vertically, exactly as oriented in the STL file. Recommended material: PETG or any plastic resistant to mechanical stress. ⚠️ Note: If you print it in PLA, the hinge pin is likely to break after a few uses. Shock-absorbing inserts (second plate): Print these in TPU to help absorb impacts and protect the camera. Alternatively, you can cut and fit foam if TPU isn’t available. I used TPU for AMS, which is on the stiffer side, but if you have a softer TPU, definitely give it a try! 🔩 Project Goal To create a lightweight, practical case that protects your Osmo Action 5 and eliminates the need to buy bulky or overpriced accessories you won’t actually use. 💬 Let me know what materials you used and fee
