# DJI Osmo VR180 Mod
Here is the DJI Osmo VR180 mod I presented in November 2025, which has not yet been published.
Print the parts and assemble them. No extra cables are required.
## Mounting Instructions
To mount it properly:
1. Carefully remove the glued front panel of your DJI.
2. Unscrew the shield behind the panel.
3. Carefully loosen the adhesive and unclip the lenses.
4. Disconnect the front microphone.
5. Remove the lenses.
## Fan Wiring
Take your fan and solder one wire to the switch, then solder another wire from the switch.
Then attach the wires to the battery pins on the mainboard.
Do **not** solder them to the pins. Just make a tight loop with the wire and place it around the pin. That is enough.
## Cooling
Add some copper heat sinks to fill the empty space. Self-adhesive copper heat sinks from AliExpress are cheap and work perfectly.
In my case, I used an M.2 heat sink that I cut and attached with thermal tape. This gave me a larger surface on which to place
