DJI Phantom 4 Pro - FPV Racing Version
I was lucky enough to get a DJI Phantom 4 Pro display model given to me; it's basically the shell, motors (with no wires), camera gimbal + motors (and no camera) so I decided to FPV it up and make a 6S Racing beast.
There's plenty of space inside the arms for a 30a esc's and room enough for a 30x30mm stack above the camera gimbal.
The display model came with working brushless gimbal motors, but I didn't want to ruin these (as I could either sell them or re-use them elsewhere) so I needed to lock up the gimbal at around 30 degrees, make a mount for a runcam mini swift and make a few mounts for a FC stack.
If you're familiar with building racing quads then this should be no challenge for you.
I used up "spares" to build this, may be tempted in the future to put GPS on it and turn it into a long range quad. I wanted the changes to be as discreet as possible and to raise a few eyebrows when powerlooping a P4 through a fpv gate...
