This is a scale model of human DNA. The distance between the two backbones is proportional to the distance between sets of base pairs, and it has the correct number of base pairs per turn.
This is also a good way to test your printers bridging ability while also getting an interest print. Changing settings part way up the print could allow you to calibrate your settings.
I would love to see someone print this out with a multi-material printer. Could produce incredible results.
