You can not just put double sided tape on your dockingstation. That is why this Mount is intended to decouple the heattransfer, so you can just put double sided tape on the 3d printed part and then screw the adapters, to tighten the dockingstation to the holder. Also you can easily remove and insert the adapter as often as you want, and the table part stays glued under the table.
